This extended workshop is for physical educators and dance educators to come together to share and learn about practical ways that that college/university programming, state and national resources, and basic skills development supports opportunities for Dance in Broad Perspectivesand Dance for All. The session is divided into 3 sections: 1) A round table discussion of college/university dance programming and classes in Virginia; 2) Dance resources for anyone who needs ideas for teaching and promoting dance in the curriculum; and 3) Teaching about leadership skills through movement (dance).

VAHPERD sessions are co-sponsored with the National Dance Society
