During the last four years, the presenter of this session has continuously revised her undergraduate course that focuses on Siedentop’s Sport Education Model (SEM). After attending sessions and workshops on Gen-Z SEM, she replaced a lecture format with experiential learning that encompassed three modified SEM seasons. The health and physical education undergraduate students were assigned to teams, chose a team role, learned to officiate, enhanced their conflict resolution skills, and developed their playing skills in three different sports. At the end of the semester, students created their own 18-day SEM season. While exam grades remained constant under the new teaching methodology, students were more knowledgeable with regards to SEM implementation when presenting their final project to the class. Therefore, the purpose of this session is to share three different SEM curricular designs as a guide for individuals new to SEM who are interested in implementing the model in various settings.
