In this session participants will learn hands-on warm-up and fitness activities for teaching various fitness components such as: aerobic endurance; flexibility; and muscular strength & endurance. Participants learn how to intrinsically motivate students to move and participate, as well as how to develop self-responsibility toward fitness. Most of the activities presented can be done in small or large groups and involve students in social/emotional skills such as cooperation, communication, and problem-solving.
